offers the opportunity to focus on computer skills and individual study
Impact: since 2022, 'basic' IT classes have been running during the summer months for about 30 young adults from Kisantu and the surrounding area
Programmes for young people and adults at Saint-Luc Hospital and local secondary schools
Objectives:
Individual learning and studying using online learning sites such as Khan Academy (mathematics) and Maxicours (French); learning content for every level
Our project leader Juvenal is responsible for organising and planning these programmes, which are evolving based on feedback and evaluation
Expanding IT knowledge; from ‘basic’ IT elements and applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, administration) to more specialised applications such as Photoshop (Adobe), 3D design, programming and the Internet of Things, Industry 4.0
Access to these programmes for members of the entire community and of our local partners, such as interns from Hôpital Saint-Luc, technical schools, ASK sport academy of Kisantu …
